当校は、2012年4月にグランドオープンしたばかりのたいへん新しいスクールです。
イギリスで開発された、世界的に高評価を得ているIPC(国際初等教育カリキュラム)機構の正式なメンバー校です。
また、東京都立川市の姉妹校、東京ウエストインターナショナルスクール同様、子どもたちが、安全な環境で楽しく学ぶことをモットーに、学科目のみでなく、音楽やスポーツ、ダンスといった体を動かすレッスンを多く取り入れております。
現在、生徒の3割はアメリカ国籍を中心とする外国籍児童で、英語はもちろんのこと、自然に異国文化に触れ親しむことができます。

当校は、東京都立川市にある東京ウエストインターナショナルスクールの姉妹校として、2012年4月にグランドオープンした学校です。
この学校のコンセプトは、子供たちが、南国のビラに滞在するように、緑に囲まれながらゆったりとした環境のもとで、楽しんで多くの学科目、スポーツを学ぶ、というものです。
そのため、充分なスペースを確保した明るい教室で、少人数制を実現し、子供たちがアットホームでストレスのない環境を体感できるようになっています。

姉妹校の東京ウエストが、充実したスポーツ施設を備え、多様な学科目、スポーツに力を入れているという特色も生かし、当校も小さいながら明るい室内ジムを備えています。

Our school opened in April 2012 and it is a member of the IPC (International Primary Curriculum).
Just like our sister school in Tachikawa City, Tokyo West International School, we aim to create a safe environment where children can enjoy learning.
This is why our curriculum is focused not only on the academic subjects but also on other extra curricular activities like sports, music and dance.
About one third of our students are native English speakers, coming from the United States and other foreign countries.
This allows our students to get in touch children with different languages backgrounds and cultures.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

Central Forest International School was opened on a full scale in April 2012. It is a sister school of Tokyo West International School in Tachikawa city, Tokyo.
Our school concept is conducive for children to study different academic subjects. They will also enjoy sports activities in a safe and comfortable, green atmosphere.
Our classrooms are bright and spacious, providing the children with a pleasant, comfortable and stress-free learning environment.
Our sister school, Tokyo West International, has substantial sports facilities that emphasize the importance of various indoor and outdoor activities. In relation to this, Central Forest International School has a small but bright indoor gymnasium used on a daily basis for our gymnastics and ball games. We also have a natural grass playground equipped with toilet and sports materials nearby Chuo Rinkan station. Students will be taken there by bus there or to a nearby park, weather permitting, to enjoy free play, fun games and sports. These activities help develop cooperation and physical strength.
